The International Society for Behavioral Ecology (ISBE) is pleased to be holding the 19th ISBE Congress in Melbourne, Australia from Sunday 29 September to Friday 4 October 2024. Whilst the first time in Melbourne, this will be the third time in the Society's 38-year history the Congress has been conducted in Australia, so this is an opportunity not to be missed!
You'll have the chance to hear from world leaders in the field of behavioural ecology as well as contribute to the dialogue of this global forum. Representatives from over 50 different countries will share their research in the program that offers over 900 oral and poster presentations.
The latest products and services available in the market will be showcased in the Exhibition which is an integral element of the Congress.
And of course, lots of opportunities to connect face to face with colleagues from across the world throughout the program and social events.
There is much to see and do in Melbourne and we encourage you to stay a day or two longer to discover all the city has to offer as well as some of the nearby regional delights. Melbourne is a truly global city with a rich multicultural mix celebrating the diversity of its people and the city. From its vast range of restaurants, cafes and bars, film and food festivals to galleries and opulent theatres, fashion stores, botanic gardens, sports stadiums, elegant Victorian-era streetscapes to modern innovative architecture, Melbourne has an activity and attraction that will undoubtedly interest you.
And of course, extend your stay to explore Australia's diverse natural beauty. From the tropical rainforests of Queensland, to the wide open deserts of the Northern Territory, to the beauty of the iconic Sydney Harbour, there is so much on offer.
So now is the time to commit to joining us in Melbourne for what promises to be an outstanding Congress.
We look forward to welcoming you to the Congress and Melbourne.
